i’m not sure how the journal search feature works and what the results it displays signify? it doesn’t seem to do a comprehensive search across all journals as the results it displays are not complete, neither are they representative of entries that contain the search string, or so it seems.

also, is there a way to search through journal comments?

would be grateful for some details.

I searched for the word “memories” and it found the correct journal :snooty:

you just have to click on top right to see it completely:blush:

well i did use the "search title and entire entry" option from the search options drop down menu

and even then the search results don't show all the entries in all the journals where the search string appears

regarding journals:

I see in my profile it says, "Entries (2)" and Comments (1). When I go to read "comments" I do not see any. There are only two journal entires so... why does it says comments (1)???

Scroll all the way down, and you will see the comment by PCG. Here, just for you, is the screenshot.

one more:

Under journal information, the description of the journal says, "Song". When I made my first journal then I had put in this description cz I'd thought each journal would have its own "journal information" space.

So, now I try to change the description cz ofcourse not all my journals would be songs but i dont see any option to be able to do that. can i?

Here, click on Journal Options → Edit Journal Info and there you can change Journal description.
