Journal Question

I have a question bout this particular feature when submitting entries in the journal

Say if i wanto post an entry and want just one person to see it rather then all my journal buddies.

Can i do this by using the specific feature?

I tried to post an entry
Made it private and specified the username of the person i wanted it to see in the Specific User field.

But it didnt really help.

Can someone fix it please.

I want my entires to be on 4 levels.

Private, just for me.
Private entry for a certain member(s) :halo: to view
Private entries viewable by anyone on my buddly list
Public entries which wont be many

I dont like the option of having private entires viewable to my buddylist.

Well, you can still do 1, 3, & 4. Option # 2 is there but it doesn't work.

So if you don't want your buddylist to view your private entry then don't check "Allow buddy list to view the entry" only check "Make this entry private".

However there are some entires that i write just for James and then he logs on using my account to read 'em.

Sometimes there is something i'd only write for a certain guppies and not the rest.

and its annoying have to redo my buddy list again and again and again .

That option does not work and will not work in future as well... Nothing in these journals will be fixed because they are working on the journal blog thing and all these journals will be transfered (and may lose some, most or even all of the entries in the process:D) to that blog thingie :P

I said “may be” as a caution.. does not necessarilly mean that it will happen:hoonh:… It’s a kind of precaution so that you guys can keep exporting your journal after every entry

can't do it LB..

me and lusi tried, and tried - you just can't.

and it really sucks cause sometimes you just want one person to read the entry, and not everyone on your buddy list.

i promise not to read any of the private entries you make for james covers eyes
