So how come there’s only a limited amt of ppl that we can add to our list of journal buddies if we wanna keep it private?

I don't have a private journal nor do I have journal buddies. Therefore I don't know how that works. However, I think it will always give you 2 more names to add once you update your buddy list. In other words, you will have to add people in couples and each time you update the list, you'll have 2 more rows to enter 2 more names. Update, and you'll have 2 more rows, update again, you'll have 2 more rows. And so on.

I have a question too , I made my journal pvt n added my friends in journal buddies list but when they try to view it they get this msg " U dont have premission to view sandleen’s journal blah blah 
what is wrong ???

No, it is not working. hmmmmmmm.......tell me what you do. You add my name to the list and then click update buddies? Is this the list where you add my name? Check the circled area.
