Josh - a ray of hope in Pak films?

www.joshthemovie.com

Tell me what you guys think.

oh if the site only worked

Hahaha doesn't look like there is a ray of hope for Pakistani Films, they are unable to even get a website to work! :p

there is probably something wrong with your computer or maybe the site was temporarily down - its working right now.

looks good, looks promising.

So this is the debut Chohdury flick that was in the talks for awhile.
I've seen the pics and they look good but the trailor isn't online and so
are the songs.

Lets see what happens.

hmmm interesting.

Yeah, I might see this movie, not because of story but of Meera

After watching the horrible flash intro, NO

Whoever made that site needs some basic spelling lessons...

Movie might be good though, good job PCG for informing us :)

Well I don't think if they put up a website it's make the movie a "ray of hope"... the site sucks anyway (the web designer's site is not working.). And I only bother giving attention to movies produced by well know educated people, not some named... Chaudary Saleem!

Waise the way the images look, it's probably going to do well with local Pakistani crowd, so as long as it makes money... it's good for the industry. :)

See, after YDAKH, I dont keep high expectations of these new attempts...however, its a change from the heavy village "belles" dancing in rain. And yeah, the website is not well done - what do you expect?

The only reason why I'm remotely interested in this movie is that Sara Choudry is in the project, and from what I've seen, she hasn't gotten herself involved in any silly projects...she was saying that its a horror/mystery type story, so its something different...

lets wait and see.

Well lets see, I won't actually be able to watch it but hopefully someone would post up a review. The last movie I saw was "Tere Pyar Mein". That was one great movie. :)

people’s champ/khiska huwa,
you might want to download(http://www.macromedia.com/downloads) the flash plugin which will enable u to view the site. it doesn’t take very long. though i don’t think if you would want to for this :~)

Okay, so that I get an idea of what is quality to you, what exactly is wrong with the few clips you saw? I dont mean the website and its arrangement - i think we all can agree that even I could create a better site (and I have trouble working msn messenger!)...but as far as the actual material of the movie goes....

OK, so a ray of hope is an Indian-style movie? I agree that this might be the only way to compete with indian movies in Pakistan, but what the hell?

What do u mean indian style? How do u define indian style? I believe their is no such thing, indians copy hollywood, modifying it according to their local taste, and Lollywood does the same, that's globalization for you. :)

for starters i don't watch pak/ind movies. and thats about the end of it. its a complete waste of time for me...not to mention BORING.

i didn't go any further after i heard the "cry" beautifully mixed with the lightining effect and was forced to close the window. i wonder what was the significance of that. the site gives us a glimpse of the movie. it does reflect how the movie will be. its not the quality, its the content.

i would rather watch an episode of tanhayan(spelling??) from pakistanvision.com, which is of no match when it comes to quality to this one.

on a side note, the latter part of the quote you used in ur signature doesn't make sense, atleast to me. "you have leave to be burned in the house" i think it should have been left.

wow. I do that all the time. haii, nostalgia.

I watch Tanhaayian (mainly the last episode) and then, pray that God please make Shehnaz and Marina come back to TV.

Hey, I heard Marina is moving to Canada. Marina, please move into my neighbourhood. Send me a pm and I'll give you my address. you'll love it, trust me.

Then you, Asif Raza Mir, Mahnoor Baloch, Mehmood Akhtar and I can maybe hang out or something. Ya know maybe have a Molson or two.

^^ those serials remind me of pak..and it really feels good to see them..several weeks ago i really had a very strong urge to watch something pak..

their acting reflects the innocence of their character
(and perhaps personality too) which is worth watching. this is something which is more close to reality. OUR reality and no fantasy.

i wish they could improve the quality.

it would be nice to meet these ppl in person. i am sure they are as pleasant and downtoearth as they seem to be. we could also visit falls as i reallllyyy want to see them. i wanted to visit them last summer but something else came up. :/

and then we could take some pics and post them here and show off :~)

okay enough...dream's over!!! :/ :~)

b/w whats a molson? hmm i don't think if we have it in the us
