I quoted what i read there, and with or without context, this moron talking about bloodlines and shyt makes no sense.

Anyways, the main hang up is a headline that was not mentioned here, when king abdullah said something along the lines of that they (as in arabs leaders) must do everything to prevent the shias from gaining any power in iraq. **

so what, all it goes to further show is that King Abdullah is a moron too.

wrong in response to wrong aint right, and the supposed learned scholar needs tolearn this basic lesson.

yeah they are a few, just like any other country has its fair share of critics. Can you name any that does not? However, compare it to the ppl who do support the gov (but not neccesarily all its policies), and i'm sure you'll find a better perspective.

Call either of them what you want, but IMO the cleric (who btw is not an ayatullah), had every right to be upset. From what i understood within context, the bloodline issue was merely brought in to reinforce his POV, i.e that the king is sell out, as he's more influenced by his english relatives (in other words the west) in his policy making and not neccesarily trying to condone 'incest'. That is why i thought you were way off tangent.

so alrite, he expressed his view differently (the typical mid eastern anologies), the guys an alim, not a politician, they're not known for being PC, they're more honest then that. but does that gives others the right to become all judgemental? the funny thing is calling people idiotic, morons and what not, just to point out that someone else is (supposedly) uncapable to express themselves, is a bit ironic no? its abit too much.

I was not way off tangent, you missed the point. The cleric needs a major lesson in composition because it appears he cant make his point.

well he expressed himself the way middle eastern people commonly converse in, its thier style. i woulda thought you'd be familiar with that. however, if thier ways are alien or absurd to you, then so be it. It was aimed for the arabs, not the west, and i'm sure they're familiar with it.

interesting since Iranians dont like to be called middle eastern, kher anyways. That may be their style but surely had he been thinking rather than reacting he could have come up with a better analogy. The arabs may be familiar with it, but not all analogies are created equal :)

whats the big issue here this cleric did'nt say anything the whole muslim world does'nt already know puppets like abdulllah are worse than dogs we know they have no independence nobody supported them or even voted them in what else are they but stooges doing the wests dirty work!

No actually the king is a bigger idiot and dog because he is in position of power and influence where is this cleric in the ranks of power brokers not very high up if at all, so the cleric is correct to tell what is well known by the muslim world as the truth and he should be applauded for using the opportunity in front of millions to expose these corrupt rulers for what they are.
