Over the past decade, one murder case has constantly been in the media. The murder of Jon Benet Ramsey, child beauty queen, who was raped, strangled and murdered in her own home. For years, the media hounded her parents and even her brother, constantly accused them of committing the crime and covering up the “family” crime. Well now it seems that it wasn’t her family after all. It was a teacher who has been arrested in Thailand.
10 years later. I am quite shocked and disturbed by what her family was put through. Fingers were pointed at them. The media hounded them and the poor child was on the cover of countless magazines over the past 10 years. I didn’t realise that her mother died of cancer this past June. At least she died knowing that they found the supposed killer, although he wasn’t arrested while she was still alive and claims her death was an “accident”.
This case was really sensationalized in the media. I hope the family has some closure and is finally able to try and move on.
i was following that case too..it was pretty sad the way she died..her mom even was a suspect and the poor lady just died 2 months back...they should have found this guy earlier..what a sicko..its too bad they don't hang killers here
What I dont understand is that the suspect keeps saying it was an accident. The father of JonBenet says he didnt know him. There's obviously something wrong here.
Yeah, that bit is confusing as well. I mean, she was raped, beaten up and strangled. How can her dying as a result be an accident? Also, how did he get into the house?
I am sure we will find out the "facts" soon enough ....
He claims that he wanted to kidnap her.....who knows.....maybe she struggled and in the process his anger took over. The acts of sick minds can never be fully understood as far as I am concerned.
Luckily he was already a suspect and a warrant was issued for him before JonBenet's mother passed away. She was aware but wasn't able to live to see him arrested.
He says he did. There is apparently DNA. Does it match? Who knows. Police say she wasn't raped. He says he raped her. There was DNA on her. He says he was "in love" with her.
The more details we learn, the more sick I find this whole thing.
well....apparently ex-wife says he couldn't have done it.
he says he drugged the child....yet the autopsy didn't reveal any such evidence.....no alcohol and no drugs.....
His ex-wife claims he was with her when Job Benet was murdered.
Maybe she was assisting him murdering and kidnapping JonBenet. The guy hasn't confessed yet. He has just said that he was with her while she was dying and her death was an accident. It very well might be that the guy is a weirdo, wacko who is having some fun. :D
