jokes with friends of opposite sex

how comfortable are u sharing x-rated jokes with ur friends of opposite sex?
I just felt so awkward today when this girl was telling really “dirty” jokes to the group (which included guys as well) today. i dont mind sharing jokes with my girl friends as long as i am very comfy with her but no matter how much i am good friends with a guy, i can never talk like that infront of them.

Well suroor I'm really close to my guy friends and most of my friends are guys, and well you know how they think so their jokes are always x-rated. I think I have been influenced by them and yes I do laugh at their dirty jokes and make a significant contribution.

However, there is always a limit and they know when not to cross that boundary. I feel comfortable because I know they already respect me. A few times they got a bit carried away and afterwards they apologise. With males I'm not close to however, I avoid such topics and jokes.

thora bohut okay.. but there is a limit that i can never cross.
i am just old fashioned i guess :-/

i'm never comfortable with either males / females. i find it totally stupid and idiotic to make such jokes. i don't tell such jokes nor i expect my friends to tell me such jokes. we have good understanding on such issues and so we always stay clear of such topics. :)

guy jokes are X rated MOSTLY.....ppl in my profession are known for their dirty jokes BUT never in front of ladies.....a manz gotta respect ladies period.....

which profession do you belong to ??

waisay I'm never comfortable with sharing X rated jokes with my friends of opposite sex, even with the ones i'm very close with...

My girlfriends dont joke with me about that cause they know I first of all dont get a lot of jokes, and secondly they know I'd probably gasp upon hearing one like that.

My guy friends...have tried it, but they realize I'm not into em so usually dont repeat, but some try to repeat on purpose. sigh

I'm pretty comfortable sharing x-rated jokes with good female friends but would feel extremely awkward sharing them with men. I don't think it's proper to do so, no matter which guy it is. I think it has to do with respect for the opposite sex in their presence where sex is involved and using tact in knowing your boundaries.

My favourite cousin ... who is a guy who is also my age and who I can proudly say is one of my best-friends ... well, we have the most candid and extreme conversations ... anything from joking about sex to me wanting to know how guys thought about certain issues. I think if there is a trust and comfort level there, then I would be o.k. with it. It could have to do with the fact that we have been very close for years. However, I can only converse like this with him ... not with any other guy.

Ouch cat nasty pic. Specially da statement on da underpants.

I dont feel comfy joking with da other sex, coz its like disrespecting them. :P

I have heard the dirtiest jokes mostly from the opposite gender. It added the spice to the joke and the conversation we were having. But I can understand if a person wouldn't feel comfortable.

well i think its ok to joke around with ur girls

but with my male friends i dont tell ne jokes but they often do, they seem to derive some weird pleasure when the girls tell them they're disgusting but we're a pretty close group of friends so nobody rele takes it seriously..i know that if they were around girls they didnt know that well they would never tell those kind of jokes

it all boils down to how comfortable are u around that person

Don't make friends with the opposite
gender for I have one already, my spouse. As far as
same gender ones are concerned the kind of friends I have,
it's not just with me but even with anyone else they
wouldn't trod even near the boundaries. They are just
that kind of people and so am I.

Sometimes a lame dirty joke can be so funny when shared with a female...ask Roman or FG.

I don't feel comfortable at all...hmm actually I don't think I should and don't want to talk about things that I wouldn't be able to talk about with my male/female friends in front of my family...

i dont understand jokes... fullstop

Re: jokes with friends of opposite sex

i dont think joking (x-rated) with guy friends is of any harm , as long as u n they remain in their limits. depends upon the mentality of ur male-friends.if they r understanding, no prob with dat, but if they r cheapsters 1 shud aviod bringing up such a topic.
