Re: Jojo's new creation

Great blending of colors.

Was it a stilllife project?? If it is then the dupatta doesn't seem real. Its doesn't catches one's eye in a matter of details. It looks all the same with same wrinkly pattern. Again, not sure if it was meant to be like this or not but would have loved it even more if dupatta would give out natural and realistic wrinkly pattern.

Im no pro in art - just say what I feel regarding any piece. Nevertheless, Again GREAT job with blending of colors - amazing.

Re: Jojo's new creation

Very nice, I really like the surahi, I can never make it like this, especially the ones with short neck.

Re: Jojo's new creation

at 1st glance, it looks similar to the look the large glass windows you see on churches.

ya it was a still life. I understand ur point n it make sense also but working with oil pastel is really v difficult. they are actually the colored crayons kids use and I hv worked with them, it’s really v hard to create real life impressions esp if u working on textured material. Opposed to u I am actually amazed by the way she has dun the white boondi pattern on the chunri i.e I can’t figure out how she has dun it n she dun wanna share the trade secret :bummer:
the object which I didn’t liked much was the plate, she cud hv used more shading in it, it really looks flat

Re: Jojo's new creation

^ Her use of colors is good enough but I was pointing at how dupatta has the same texture I guess .. as in same kind of wrinkles all over.. that actually took away the realistic touch from it. And yes, plate does look flat.
