To answer your question, yes there are government institutions that give their employees all of this eg. CDA, OGDCL, RDA etc. And they get subsidies too (utilities, rent, medical, education). And before you say anything about the authenticity of what I said here.. I am talking from first hand experience here. =)

I am specifically asking about people working as engineers, teachers and doctors in government service. CDA, RDA etc have a job regarding development of properties and if they give land to their employees, nothing wrong with that. OGDCL is a ‘company’, so no comparison.

I am not against giving officers all those benefits. I am just saying such benefits should be equitable to all those in government service. I am not very sure that a police officer’s or a doctor’s job is so much less valuable than a military officer’s job suggested by the imbalance in perks provided. So, to answer the OP, I wrote that life as a military officer is not at all a bad one, given all the perks you get.
