It differs from mod to mod :) Being a typical Pakistani, I use Elfi but I think Phatima uses some American brand. We get paid $ 5 + (# of replies) x ($.10) ] for each thread we move. That's the initial pay and we get raise every 3 months based on how much moderation we did. Jony is the richest mod, then comes me, and then our newbie mod Phatima. :)

Shikra merges the most threads. Any thread you see with this in it --> "[merged]" is Shikra's doing. Sometimes he forces me at gunpoint to merge threads, because he doesn't want to make himself look bad, but he's usually the one being so strict with the rules and all. He PMs me and Jonybr just about every hour questioning the legitimacy of certain threads.
I use Elmer's glue, although sometimes that doesn't work well and the threads slowly slide apart causing a big gloppy mess all over the Cafe.
Jonybr uses his boogers. They usually work quite well.

One day jony was telling me that he ran out of boogers, then he used the paindoo method: Thook.
p.s. Phatima moti stop using that “[merged]”, you are giving me a worse name

Shikra! I can’t believe you would blame that on me! You are so two-faced.
And, when all else fails, we use chewing gum, or “chingum” as some Pakistanis like to call it.
I use Bubbalicious…and sometimes Spout 
but I usually end up keeping that in my mouth rather than wasting the wonderful flavor to merge threads (which, btw, I hardly ever do. It’s usually Shikra)

At the end of each week, all the Mods line up in the Mod Forum and one by one, we walk up to Azkar mamoe (who sits on a throne with a crown on) and he hands us an envelope with our weekly pay in it. All the other Mods get pehai, laiken phati ko kabhi koi pehai nahi miltaiN 
. All Azkar mamoe says is “Shabaash, beta,” and then he makes me go sit down empty handed.
Somebody give me a hug.
