Johnson & Johnson's Monoply

J&J has been continuously purchasing the divisions of other OTC pharmaceuticals for the last few years. and keep getting authorization from anti-monoply authorities.
I thought, they’re already in monoply - how come they keep getting “go ahead” permission.
Are the authorities waiting for them to cross the limit ?? so can give them hard time later on just like Microsoft.

J&J’s Pfizer deal gets go-ahead.
US anti-monopoly authorities have approved Johnson & Johnson’s $16.6bn (£8.4bn) purchase of rival drug firm Pfizer’s consumer products business.

The Federal Trade Commission said it would not oppose the deal as long as the companies sold off four drugs - Zantac, Cortizone, Unisom and Balmex.
Johnson & Johnson will now cement its position as the world’s leading seller of over-the-counter medicines.
The Pfizer brands it is buying include Sudafed cold treatment.
The deal, which was first announced in the summer, has already been approved by the European Union.

Re: Johnson & Johnson's Monoply

This is a big no no for Muslims according to the company itself. 70% of the ingredients are made up of lard and other pig sources. So make sure you don’t use it on your babies and tell your other family and friends as well.
