Not many people know the reasoning behind it and specially geo. US Embassy does not come under pakistan but house of the diplomat does. so IK wanted to meet him on sovereign ground. Like a boss eh? ;)
btw thank God Kerry corrected Sartaj and stopped him from lying. Kerry will get sawab by saving Sartaj Aziz's roza.
Its quite funny, because Kerry, later in an interview, made a statement saying that 'drone strikes will end'. And he was obviously referring to eventuality. Of course they will end.....when everyone is dead. But PML-N supporters across social media are using that statement as a victory point, saying that somehow Nawaz Sharif has forced the US to stop the drone strikes.

i don’t know if this is true…but I heard that Obama had called during this meeting to speak with IK, and IK had told him ke he wil speak to Obama later as he is busy in this meeting with Kerry
It wasn’t a secret meeting. It was announced beforehand. If you have been sleeping 48 hours non-stop then that is a different matter.
IK always said he would meet Kerry but not at the US Embassy which is exactly what he did..
