we forgot to take the treadmill from my parents when moving.. so ive resorted to dancing and jogging on the spot.. im hoping very much that i will have a flat tummy by doing this…
CB....to lose weight faster and more effectively, combine cardio with weight lifting. Just buy a 10 pound weight and do weight lifts for each arm.
Sadzzz, yes, I think jogging in place will help. After all, isn't that what you do on a treadmill? You're basically jogging in place. Another exercise that is known to help remove fat from the whole body is jump roping. Whatever exercise you do, do it for at least 30 minutes. For example, you can jog in place/jump rope for 15 minutes and then lift weights for the next 15 minutes.
Also, you can't spot reduce abdominal fat with crunches or situps. In order for it to work, you have to combine this with cardio/weights. If you're doing that, then crunches will be more effective. Try doing the bicycle crunch, it works out your obliques (sides), which trims down your waist line.
I used to jog on the spot ALL the time before with crunches and all sorts of stuff.. like Pilates.. but thoese days, i was eating mums food at the same time. So, all i was doing was maintaiing the weight, not quite getting rid of it.
these days, cus the food intake it lesser and a lot healthier (somewhat), i guess it'll be easier losing weight.
I didnt get a chance to do my exercise lastnight, and now i have this huuuuge rock size thingy in my shin :(
chameli, i've always been a jogging on the spot person, even if i had the treadmill. And my bro would be like "here she goes again" lol
