Jodha Akbar Style Nikah...

okay here is my idea for my wedding…the nikah for my “future husband” is gong to be on the stage…and I really love how in the olden days or in the masjid, you sit on the ground and so does the imam and reads the nikah…( like in the movie jodha akbar)

My idea is to have a little “mandap” on the left side of the stage right next to the bride and groom chairs…and have my man and his witnesses…kazi..etc sit on the ground (masnath) and recite the nikah and dua…after that is over…i want him to get up and go sit on the chair…and wait for my arrival…

how is that idea? do you think it will fly?

do you know or have any pictures of any weddings that you have been to that have done this? i only found 1 picture online of this…and here it is…
