One thing to keep in mind, Middle East and specially the Emirates is an extremely race conscious job market. Unfortunately salaries depend on your nationality and color of your skin ! so yeah, salaries for the same role can differ hence why most companies dont give away their salaries as easily .. so you might have to do your benchmarking cleverly.

Even when the companies like Bayt do the benchmarking, they might do it keeping certain companies in mind , but may not reflect the real salary position .. an Arab , a Westerner, a desi will all be earning different kind of salaries for the same role …

how about Desis who are citizens of a western country? what do they get? a desi salary or a western salary?
