Hinna, what kind of job are you looking for?
at this point anything really.. Business, IT, Non-profit..etc
If you are in Canada, get under DesiMunda's wings, he hooks people up in Microsoft!

If it is seriously anything, you could start with the higher education (aka your school) and see if there are openings. This will not only give you some time to find a good job but it also gives your experience.
Other then that start by working with your contacts, be they DM and AJ or your profs. You can also think about helping a small buiness with your Business knowledge. Not only is this great experience but very often it can really help the firm move forward.
hopefully this will give you ideas to build on yourself. Also go to the networking events held by your college. They can be a great source of getting a good job and contacts in various industries.
great advice hmcq..thanks :) I'll look into the small business idea...
^ where do u live?
I’m not sure what exactly you have in mind. I know agencies like AppleOne (www.AppleOne.ca) and Spherion (www.spherion.ca) keep hiring people from time to time. They place people mostly at inbound call centers so you can expect to get a customer service kinda job if you go through them (average 12-15$/hr).
The place i’m working at right now i was referred to by AppleOne. Maybe i got lucky but in my case i was working within a week of applying there. Who knows, could be worth a try.
Here’s a list of all employment agencies in toronto. (http://www.alltorontojobs.com/employment.htm). The reason i like to go through agencies is that even though they truncate your paycheck alot, they DO hook you up. I’ve been to two agencies and both of them put me at really sweet places. Keep in mind though every agency deals with a different industry (IT, office, temps, transportation, food etc).
Good Luck! ![]()
