Although we do get a break here and there and get to sleep a little at night … it really is a tough job! At least we get paid in hugs and kissies

It’s nice and I like it.
Although, I don’t really like the “you’re doing it for free” .. I mean it’s not like we get paid in all our other relationships, I know they’re not as demanding and can’t be compared but stilll? It’s not the first time I’ve heard the “doing it for free” comment and it often comes up in the SAHM vs. working mother debates as well and it sort of irks me haha.
We get “paid” with so much more, that money could never buy, why is money in the question at all?
/ just weird thoughts of mine, I guess.

And here’s the flip side which I found pretty hilarious and I gotta say, I do agree with the comments left at the bottom esp about parenting being the key word not just mothering.
