I write freelance.....it is my hobby. There was a time when I actually considered becoming a journalist but facing major discouragement from family elders, I dropped the notion and got into the IT industry. They insisted that technical expertise was the only way to a secure future.

I believe we need more muslims out there in the journalism field because in this day and age media is the voice that really gets things going.

So if you don’t mind me asking, what kinds of magazines/newspapers have your pieces been published in??

I got into strategy because I always like solving problems and try to be creative as well as logical and realistic in solving problems. Its challenging, you get to shape the future of your company (if internal strategy position) or of your clients (if a consultant)

I moved from industry into consulting for the ever changing challenges. My one client can be an international commerical real estate company, next one could be a earthmoving equipment company and the next could be a dot com.

It exposes me to my three passions careerw-wise strategy, technology and international business.
