MPAC interns gain hands-on education, experience and skills in media, community, and government relations. You won't just be filing, you'll get to use your creativity and initiative to enhance or even create effective projects that help fulfill our mission. We are looking for team players who are self-motivated and enjoy working hard.
Interns will be keeping up to date with local and national politics and media, writing reports and analyses, and will have an opportunity to interact with government officials, attend press conferences and events. The MPAC-DC office is located across the street from the Supreme Court, Capitol Building, and all of the Senate Office Buildings, allowing interns to experience the political atmosphere of Washington firsthand. MPAC-LA is located in the center of one of the nation’s media capitols, and regular engages with media and governmental professionals as well as interfaith dialogue, hate crime prevention, and community outreach.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Custom Factory Integration (CFI) Project Engineering group is responsible for: customizing customer’s hardware & software requirements to allow custom systems to be built on Dell’s standard manufacturing lines; developing software tools to support engineering effort. CFI is a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Output must be accurate and timely. Scope of tasks varies from mundane to complex; customer project time is sometimes measured in hours. Will work with a team of: 10-20 CFI engineers, 40-50 CFI

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Proficient in use of Ghost, PowerQuest, MS Office.
Troubleshoot and analyze problems to root cause.
Installation of PCs & components; TCP/IP network

Knowledge of the Microsoft registry.
Working knowledge of custom installations of the OS.
Proficient with Dell systems and hardware
