Re: job for Moms...
Anyone? Anything?
Re: job for Moms...
she can work for avon. that's pretty much a home business and not a scam. it also allows for socializing a bit
Re: job for Moms...
Theres not much money in avon though! Bt guess its better than nothing!
Can she sew or do henna?
Lol..ive heard of people who make samosas at home and sell them frozen at shops.
Re: job for Moms...
It depends on what are her interests and skills, and her location too.
work from home nowadays mostly means working online.
Re: job for Moms...
I actually meant sumthin online,She has access to computer, internet etc... When kids sleep, she can work at that time.but she can obviously not leave home n go since her kids are only attached to her.
No samosa's n stuff, we have aunties here in our area who make samosa's etc..
More idea's..
Re: job for Moms...
And what are her skills and interests for online work?
Re: job for Moms...
She can sell stuff online like on ebay but it is time consuming!
Re: job for Moms...

Re: job for Moms...
Well I'm not a mother, but I do need to find a job that I can do from home because of visa issues. My husband and I are going to be moving to the US for his studies, and obviously we need all the extra money that we can get. But unfortunately, my visa won't allow me to get a job outside of the house. I need a job that will allow me to make money from home, so can anyone please help with ideas?
Re: job for Moms...
Guys try getting in touch with courier services like DHL or any others .. sometimes they do have decent home based roles .. jobs like , they deliver a load of parcels for your area postcodes and you go around and deliver them ... normally its within 2 miles of your own postcode ...
I know someone who has been doing this for sometime now and is making decent money ... nothing too luxurious but its better paying then most student jobs ...
Re: job for Moms...
Sewing... my neighbour works for this factory they deliver all the material to her house and they also pick up.
i know few Pakistani aunties who do sewing and make alot out of it. now she has bought many machines to do this.
also Tutoring.
and having childcare at home. it can be hard to manage kids.
Re: job for Moms...
Thanks for the ideas guys, please keep them coming! I wish I know how to sew, it's a useful thing to know. :)
Re: job for Moms...
billing and coding in healthcare.
this will require some training though ...
Re: job for Moms...
data entry, web design, testing, free lance writing. What is her background in?
Re: job for Moms...
Um, my background is in political science, don't know about the OP's friend. Lol, not the most useful field at this point...
How does one train for data entry/billing and coding or whatever? And how do you go about looking for a job in those fields without calling attention to your visa situation?
Re: job for Moms...
^if you don't have a work visa, you will not be able to find work legally because it will be clearly stated on your social security card! and also, because companies do require that you apply only if you have work authorization!
Rest, you can have cooking classes, knitting projects, sewing classes etc. for people at your home to collect some extra dough!
Re: job for Moms...
SEO .. is also another way of working from home
Re: job for Moms...
or you can do a makeup course or learn how to do threading and even haircuts and make a decent amount at home. Esp. if you know a circle of desis
