Jo Janay Wo Jeetay is a quiz program hosted by Zia Mohiuddin on Ptv Prime. It is just like “Who wants to be a millionaire”.
Remember when Regis used to ask a simple question in the beginning to get one of the 6 people to play the quiz?. Well, Zia asks a very simple question and whoever pushes the buzzer first, gets to answer. Last night, he asked “Shawwaal kay maheenay may konsa tehwaar manaya jaata hay”?. The first two buzzers had no clue but they pushed the buzzer anyway. Only the third guy was able to say “Eid”.
I know! That was funny. The guy he asked first goes…shab-e-baraat But the initial 3-4 questions should be pretty easy ones more commonsensical than historical or literary… just to give them a bit of a start. Those two helper guys, Qureshpur and Baig are so intimidating! Is there anything they don’t know!!!
FF, and did you notice, no contestant wants Quraish Pur. They all ask for Baig Sahab.

And then that guy in suit used one of his options and still couldn't answer the question. The one on UNESCO.
I know! That was so dumb the unesco one. But the molvi did pretty well atleast in comparison to majority of the people who contest. My impressions of Kinaird College Girls is forever shattered. And poor Qureshpur, he only got one chance to speak up. Wonder how he feels about it
