mohabat ayk haqeeqat hay yeh afsana nahi hooti
khabhi apni khushi say koi deewana nahi hoota

hansi jalvoon ka murqaz hay jahan tum sujda kurtay ho
wahaan kaaba nahi hoota kay but khana nahi hoota

kuram hay un kihaaloon ka jo dill bahlaye rukhtay hain
bhula kiss kay taswar main sanam khana nahi hoota

jo ahle zaraf hootay hain badqre-e-zarf peeyta hain
chulk jaata hay jo wo un ka paymaana nahi hoota

nazar ka husn bhi shamil ho aye rindoon
jahan saqi nahi hoota wo maykhana nahi hoota

mohabut ki pursitish kay leay ayk raat kaafi hay
subh tuk zinda rah jaaye wo purwana nahi hoota

taswar ko bhi aye shaadab hum apna sumaghjtay hain
jo dayta hay tasli dill ko baygana nahi hoota
