Relax. I don't hate you. My style of written language can come across as passionate/to the point. No hatred there.
Standing by old traditions is no positive trait IMO. Realizing its folly and moving on requires guts.
Moving on to what? What else is there that attracts you away from religion?
In my humble opinion nationalism and patriotism are a bigger threat to mankind than religion.

I do not think conflict is caused by religious or irreligious but by ignorant and arrogant as the quran itself explains and the same is true in actual fact. You will never find wise people causing trouble to other human beings. It is always ignorant and arrogant. Ignorant does not know better therefore like an animal does what he does as per what he knows and arrogant refuses to learn because his attitude is I do not need this or that kind of knowledge as I am doing better without it so why bother sort of thing. All conflicts are therefore based upon this very simple explanation.
