First of all we are talking about industrialist family that were wealthy having a big enough business that was nationalised in the early 1970’s. They then set up businesses in the middle east.
I met a judge once who had 2 houses in Islamabad, he purchased a plot for in 20,000rs in 1980’s and is worth around 40 million nowdays just for one plot. Plus he had a property in London and maybe other investment. Now if people who had nothing in 1980’s and 1990’s can now be millionaire and billionaire then for Nawaz family to buy 3 or 4 apartments for around 2 to 3 million dollars in nothing.
We have known about these flats since late 1990’s well before Panama and accountability has been carried out by Bhutto and Musharraf so whats new about Panama? Why are overseas companies and assets of Zardari, Rehman, Saifullah/s, Aleem Khan, Tareen and Niazi not part of accountability? Was a judge also not named in Panama papers? What about generals who had nothing but bicycles but now their children are industrialists?
Nawaz Sharif may or may not have filed tax returns whilst in exile but his companies paid billions in taxes to Pakistan since they were set up. If I have a company and it pays taxes, it does not mean that I also have to pay taxes as I might not take any income from the company in that particular year.
I don’t understand why you guys keep on justifying the corruption of your leader. Have you seen video of Hussain Nawaz interviewing above? He said they were bhikari when they came to Pakistan. baad main lohay ke kabarhiay banay. And you keep on saying they were bloody rich.
