Jirgas will fail until Afghanis accept the reality of the border with Pakistan

Ok the “Pashtoon Jhagra” (oops Jirga) is over. People had gahwa and some sheesh kabobs too. As a result both the Talibans and the Kabuli lambs were $hite scared.

The question is? What did this Jhagra achieve besides gahawa and sheesh! kabobs? Looks like it may not be much.

There are many reasons and even more conspiracy theories that may explain the pathetic results of such jhagras.

However the most important reason is that Afgahnis do not want to respect their border with Pakistan. Why? Because one great Afgani or the other got money from Brits and signed the border. Modern day Afghanis hate their money-taking Baba Khan, and as a result their border with Pakistan.

60 odd years have gone by, and the poor Afghanis have gotten even poorer, more lawless, and more criminal. The situation now is so bad that a foreign force is permanently stationed in Afghanistan.

Afghan President can’t trust other Afghans so he has hired a private American company to save his big @r$e from his own countrymen.

Why is it so that no matter how bad Afghan situation is, they won’t respect their border with Pakistan? Is it “Russi Jal gai per bal na giya”? Or “Kuttay ki dum sow saal kay baad bhi seedhi na huwee”?

If you don’t respect your own borders, then how can Afghans can even claim to be citizens of a country?

It is high time that Karazai uses his barking skills to convince his fellow Afghans for setting border issue with Pakistan. Otherwise this border will remain a heaven for smugglers and terrorists.

They could piss on the border if they want... We dont need them to respect it, just recognize the damn thing!
Outside of that, they are never gonna stop crossing it on whim as though it didnt exist...

But yeah, you cant have peace with people like that... Most of the problems between the two countries stem from the whole border issue. Make peace today and tommorow they will be up to their same old nationlist BD... Honestly, if Zahir Khan had been a little wiser he could have saved his country much misery by not being such and antagonist from the start..
