do you believe that babies can see jinns ??
just had a freaky kind of experience and am home alone with the kids and its night. 
What surahs do I read?

Ok sorry. Read Naas and Falaq …also I dont think that kids can see anything different than what we can see.

It has been documentated that the innocence of a child is more likely to see such a being.
Naas and Falaq are definately to read. So is Ayar ul Kuri. So are any short duas that are recomended before sleeping.

Well, I quicky went upstairs to get the doll for my bari daugher so that she can sleep... and the younger (1 year old) cames after me crawling. I can hear her in the drawing room coming towards the stairs and then she screams and runs (crawling) ... I quicky jump down the stairs and look at her if she has hurt herself and she hasn't .. she sees me .. is kind of relieved then looks back... I go and pick her up .. she is in my arms and she looks back once more .. gosh I am getting the creeps ....

I agree with everyone that read sura-e-naas and sura-e-falaq but I was told this by someone to phoonko it softly in the baby's ears esp before going to sleep.

Surah Manzil. Blow in a glass of water and make her drink for 21 days daily. Thats what my mom did and yes, kids too young to talk are more likely to see these things. Same goes for animals because they can't talk and tell you what they've seen.

I have been told the babies who dont cry much & during the first couple of years smile, laugh & look into the Light & look happy usually see the All-Mighty or something simmilar.
The Babies who cry much & difficult to handle during the early years tend to see the Jinn.
Of course all Babies cry & can be handful, thats Human Nature but there are always babies who seem to their parents & people to be happy, laughing, looking into the light as in the bulb, sun, anything bright and staring, this is because they seem happiness, they see the All-Mighty or Angels & thats also a hint they grow up to be good, well mannered but having said this it doesnt mean Babies who cry more then others turn out to be bad or anything because they are just babies & full life ahead of them.
I also been told every human born has satan in them & thats why Muslims say the Azan Allah Akbar (Prayer) in the Babies Ears, could be mum or dad or anyone.
My brother always use to smile when a baby, always grinning, it doesnt mean Jinn, it means the light, Heaven, Angels, the All-Mighty even, my Brother has always been good, prays 5 times Namaz, gives Zakat, respect yb family, community, work collgues, has been told many times he is a Angel like behaviour wise, lol, but as i said just because babies cry or freak out doesnt mean they turn out to be bad, its just a spiritual thing where Allah Subanatallah is guiding us.

I agree, I dont think babies see jinns. They just don't like being left alone.

Recite or play the recitation of Surah al Baqara in your home everyday. When you enter into your home, say Bismillah before you lock the door. Both of these are mentioned in authentic hadith as keeping shaytaan out of the home. And in general saying Bismillah before starting all acts and saying Audhu billah, and reciting the du’a before entering the bathroom. Plus as mentioned, seeking refuge with Allah by recited Surah al Falaq, Surah an-Naas and Surah al-Ikhlaas, and reciting Ayat al-Kursi
Specifically regarding protection for children, here is a du’a Prophet Muhammad [sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam] used to recite for Hasan and Hussain

today I was hanging the cloths and she was playing on the floor near the room's door. then she went uh uhh .. like babies do to get attention, came towards me and I picked her up, her heart was racing real hard. :( This happened as soon as was late evening. All day she was ok and didnt want me to hold her.
I am upset and now waiting for my husband to come home, so that we can discuss what is going on .. we have just moved to this place and I think we need to hang the duas on the wall, that we had previously in our old home ... we just have not come to it.
Please pray for us .. and for my little baby.

Read ayatul kursi and 4 kul on the babies. DH once read in the quran translation that the jinns say that if someone reads ayatul kursi it just blows them away. I have not trasnlated in the exact words as i don't remember them but inshallah that will be OK for you.

reading ayatal kursi everyday and 4 quls is a must. read and blow around the house and on ur girls. surah baqarah is a very powerful surah. i have read that the person who recites surah baqarah, the shaitaan will not enter their house for 3 days. it's quite a long surah so try and read it every few days and blow around the house. inshallah everything will be ok.
do u think maybe she is suffering some kind of anxiety? because on both occassions she has been like this when u have left.

like I said after isha prayers read naas and falaq and softly phoonko it in your daughter's both ears. It works , it really helped my daughter.

Jinns dont hurt babies just like that ..even when they come or or live in a house...so stop getting scared.
Jinns have families too and have hearts too. Jinns arent animals , the way they are depicted in movies crap.

same thing happened to me when we moved into our newly built house. we were too busy to read any thing for the house. so my then 5 yrs old would start screaming in the middle of the night. when i would go to his room, he would be staring at one spot and screaming/crying. in the morning i would ask him what happened and he would not be able to remember anything. so then my husband and i realized we hadn't read anything for the house. so we read the quran and the 4 quls, and blessed the house. since then my son has not gotten up in the middle of night crying/screaming.
