The whole world knows that Altaf during a telephonic address instigated his
audience to chant the slogan** “aadha tumhara aadha hamara” (half & Sindh for
you, half for us)** and this slogan obviously reminds us about another slogan
which was raised some quarter century ago” Udher Tum Idher Hum” and the
horrible consequences it bought in a form of Dahka Fall.

Yes. anyone who knows MQM people, especially in the 80's and 90's, knows they wanted this.
The only thing that stopped them was Gen.Babar.
If they try again, I am sure the 'establishment' will send the next Gen.Babar to bring them back to pre-Musharraf days.
In addition the MQM has millions more enemies in Karachi then it did back then.

Jinahpur is such a ridiculous name, sounds like some gaon in Punjab. And the reason why it sounds like a gaon in Punjab is because it was made up by someone in a gaon in Punjab. The fact is Muhajirs are distributed through Sindh and the Seraiki belt of Punjab. Why would those in Karachi seperate themselves from those in Multan, Shujabad, Mirpurkhas etc.

Khan Bhai! Jinaah Pur allegation has two stages, first make Karachi a Muhajir Sooba & then separate it as a an indepent state 'Jinnah Pur'. Nowadays, slogans for 'Muhanjir Sooba' are again on Karachi's wall & MQM's delay in giving a clear statement on the matter again created doubts in ppl's minds.
