And I have not created Jinn and human beings except that they worship me.(Qur’ān 51:56)
It is clear from this verse that Jinns are also a creation of Allah Ta῾āla and also obliged to follow the laws of Shaī῾ah like human beings. Jinns are created from fire. There are obedient jinns as well as disobedient jinns. The term Khabīs means dirty and filthy. Generally the term khabīs refers to Shaytān.
Rasulullah salallahu ῾alayhi wasallam advised when one enters the toilet, he should recite
Oh Allah, I seek refuge in you from the male and female Khabīs *(Jinnāt)
[RIGHT](Sahīh al Bukhāri #142, 1/41, Dārut tawqun Najāt) *[/RIGHT]When a person recites this *du῾**ā’* Allah Ta’āla creates a veil between him and the Khabīs.

Word jinn, iblis or shaitan is used in the quran in many verses eg 2/31,102,275, 6/100,128-130, 15/17-18, 18/50, 26/221, 27/17,38, 34/14, 37/7-9, 41/25,29, 46/18,29, 51/56, 55/15,33,56,72, 67/5, 72/-, 114/- etc.
Could anyone explain from these verses what kind of powers these creatures have? Are these verses telling us jinns can do anything and go anywhere in the universe and pass through solid objects etc due to being supernatural beings with supernatural powers? What sort of powers iblis or satan has? Can he do anything and go anywhere in the universe and here on the earth? What would be implications of anyone having such powers in our world?
