Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY ;)

Re: Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY ;)

I've actually witnessed an 'exorcism' or whatever you want to call it. Its not one of those 'Oh I heard or Oh I read' stories. I actually saw it with my own eyes. And that **** really mind****s you.

I'm confused at the number of people saying they believe in Jinns and then the same number of people saying they don't believe in the video.

Does not compute.

Unless they are Jinn-Whispers and know how Jinn behaviour intimately.

I for one leave this one up to Allah. I don't know either way so I won't call it a Truth or a Lie.

Very creepy

tell us the details please.

Re: Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY ;)

It was one of my friend's Chachi. They are very good family friends. Basically she started getting these 'fits' where she would start screaming in Hindi and in Arabic. The crazy part is she doesn't even know conversational Arabic. At other times she would stay up all night mumbling and sometimes throwing things all over the place. It was proper crazy. They first took her to a couple of good psychologists without any results. Some of you might know of the late Dr. Haroon Rashid Chaudhry (Allah bless his soul) who was a world renowned psychiatrist/psychologist and all. Even with his good watch, nothing happened to improve her situation. They then turned towards a spiritual/religious solution.

For a while they took her to Pakistan and even India to see some 'holy men' but all that happened was they'd give them some money, they would do some Sadaqah, give her a Taweez and what not and at the end of the day nothing much happened. Eventually they asked the Imam of one of the Masjids in Dubai. Now this fellow didn't ask them for any money, nothing of that sort at all. All he said was he would come down after Jumaa to their place and they should get some trusted family/friends to assist. They called my me, my brother and our parents to their house along with my friend and his family.

Initially we just sat down in the room, all a bit apprehensive before the Imam started reciting some verses from the Quran and stuff apparently. For a while nothing happened and then suddenly she started screaming in Arabic at what point they had a very lively exchange. They were both shouting at each other and then the Imam asked two of the people present to hold her. Now this is one of the craziest things I have seen in my life. That woman is not more than 5'2" and these guys are like 5'10" and 6' (Her husband and my friend). They held her arms while she's screaming and her voice went a bit gruff but nothing like in the movies. It was just more guttural I guess?

Anyway the Imam was about five minutes into some verses and she literally 'throws' these guys across the Majlis. Everyone was like WTF! It was *ing insane I swear. I mean there's no way in the world this woman has the strength to do that. These guys are hefty you know. They land a good six or seven feet across and stumble up and run back to her while she's being held by me and my friend's Abbu. There were about four fully grown men holding her in place. Then Imam eventually even hit her a couple of times and she was screaming but it wasn't her voice. Also, her body was literally hot. I mean I have never felt a normal person feel that hot. It was one of those mind*s I swear. I still can't believe all of that was happening. So after about an hour and half of all these back and forth screaming and loads of Quranic verses and people screaming (The ladies had to be taken out of the room because they were screaming and crying) things calmed down.

At the end of everything, she just kinda fell asleep. The Imam told us she was 'possessed' by three Jinns, one of whom had left while the other two had promised never to hurt her or disturb her again. But basically they were not going to leave her. He did say that if anything like her previous symptoms happened again, he should be called. So far, its been a good few years but MashaAllah/AlhamdliAllah they haven't had any problems anymore. She tends to speak in that voice sometimes but there have not been any other disturbances. I swear if someone else had told me this story, I would have been very sceptical because I am like that by nature. I need to see and understand things on a personal level to believe. But this really made me believe more than my Abbu, my sister and another uncle's story. Yep, there's more weird stories that I have heard and one that I have witnessed that I cannot share right now. I should write these down one day in a blog or something.

Anyways, I'll end the rant. The point is that these things do happen. Somewhere someone has personally witnessed such actions. I sometimes feel some illnesses that cannot be treated by science can be treated by spiritual means. I have seen it happen. Not just in Islam but in Hinduism and Christianity as well. The world is freakin' insane. Allah protect us all.

Re: Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY ;)

Ameen. Wow, crazy!! Why won't the Jinns leave her though? What do they gain from possessing a human body?

Re: Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY

Thats intense :nook: Ameen to the dua.

Re: Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY ;)

wow...thanks for writing it down. I haven't witnessed anything myself but my nephew had some problem but after a taweez from a pious man he's gone completely better, alhamdulilah.

Re: Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY ;)

The more I listen to it the more I think that it could be for real ... I don't know!

Re: Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY ;)

people are afraid of snakes too, not all snakes are deadly or poisonous.

Re: Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY ;)

well all your guys belief in jinns is so emotional that i am now afraid of busting that bubble. nothing anyone said is supernatural or proves anything. there is a simple and logical reason for everything but i guess you guys arent mentally ready to accept it yet.

I hope you guys dont get fooled and ripped off by them so called exorcists anymore.

If you encounter any jinn looking for a host then send them my way :)

Re: Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY ;)

well you are digressing, i guess you thought i was making fun of you. in my separate conversation with you i was trying to understand the concept of jinns islamically.
anyways thanks for the help.

Re: Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY ;)

Kaka jee, why am I afraid of Jinns if not all of them are bad? errr first of, they're not humans! The typical girl that I am, I get scared by spiders (knowing they can't overpower me) let alone a creature made of fire, with super powers and not visible to the human eye! o_O So yeah, I'm dead scared be it a good jinn or a bad jinn, I'd like them to stay away thankyouverymuch! In fact, I'd also die of fear if I ever saw an angel!

As for you bursting the bubble... why are you so hell-bent on it anyway? Gidsa isn't some jaahil inferior to us in intelligence who doesn't know what he's talking about. And we're not talking about aliens here... we're talking about something Allah swt Himself has confirmed He created and confirmed they exist. Humans, angels and jinns are the three sentient creatures made by Allah. So even if you were able to convince 1.97 billion muslims that Jinns don't exist, you'd never be able to convince me unless you can prove to me that God Himself doesn't exist or unless you can give me a very good reason to take your word over God's.

Also, let me clarify that we're not talking about ghosts... as in, ghosts of the dead people or something like that... Jinn is a totally different being.

Re: Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY ;)

whats funny is........atheists don't believe in anything.......they don't have any agenda.........yet they keep jumping at every opportunity to try to ''convert'' religious people into one of them..............i don't see them doing anything different than religious folks..

Re: Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY ;)

Thanks for the reply BBCue. well i was asking a general question not personal. i have a perception that people in general are afraid of jinns and consider them bad. i mean i have never heard an exorcist congratulating people for being possessed by a good jinn. I know not everyone is afraid of them but i a sure generally people are.

I know gdisa is not a lesser of an intellectual but what i also know is his conclusion of the events is incorrect. what he witnessed i have witnessed it many times since my childhood. back then i used to get scared now i laugh at them.
Please dont mix jinn issue with alien issue. aliens are very much possible by logic and by science but jinns, ghosts, churails etc are not.

It unfortunate that believing in gods existence means first accept existence of jinns for you. i am a firm believer in god and i dont believe in ghosts or jinns for that matter.
i hope god guides you to the right path.

Re: Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY ;)

Kaka, what we believe is that God created humans from clay and jinns from fire and angels from light. It's hard to believe in what we cannot see but there is mention of their existence in the holy Qur'an which we Muslims believe is the word of God. Having said that, to claim that every psychological issue is jinn related is ignorance. I'm not pointing at any if the incidents above, and I apologize in advance to any of the posters who've shared stories...I have some too, but I see many folks who go through life challenges and blame many of their miseries on taveez and kala jadoo and jinns etc instead of taking a moment to review their personal choices and not dwell in sensationalism. About the video in the above post, I dont really know what to say.

Re: Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY ;)

No i was not thinking that you were making fun of me. I was just saying that people fear of something does not mean that the thing is bad. Plus I think we all might have fear of anything paranormal

Re: Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY ;)

thanks for the explanation. i see what you are saying and i can see where you are coming from.

i was trying to have an discussion on jinns and ghosts without bringing religion in to it. you know that is a common coffee shop discussion but i guess i shouldnt be talking about it in religion forum.

we all have our opinions, i am more scared of humans than jinns :(

Re: Jinn Interrupts Phone Conversation - SCARY ;)

Scary story Gidsa. I am inclined to believe the video was real and not a hoax of some sort. Although I haven't had any personal experience of jinns and don't ever wish to, my grandfather was an Imam and he had quite a few experiences with jinns. One occasion, a relative's wife was sure he had been possessed and called my grandfather for help. My grandfather actually talked to the jinn and got it to leave the relative. My parents were witnesses to this happening. My mum also recalls that as a child, when she and her phupo and stepmum stayed overnight in a mosque, hearing voices of children nearby at night, though when my grandfather locate the voices, nothing there.

Barbie Cue and TLK, the bit in the video where the imam asked "who created you?" I thought that he thought someone had done jadoo on the woman and sent the jinn to posess her and was asking who the jinn who the person was. That was my assumption anyway shrug
