This old school stuff really works! I’ve been following these videos this entire week just to get used to them. Next week, this is what my routine will be:
Day 1: 30-40 min cardio in the morning.
Later on in the day:
8 min abs
8 min arms
Repeat abs and arms once more. Followed by 8 min stretch (the video is on youtube). The entire routine will take less than an hour (excluding the cardio ofcourse).
Day 2: 30-40 min cardio in the morning.
Later on in the day:
8 min legs
8 min buns
Repeat legs and buns once more. Followed by 8 min stretch.
Day 3: Repeat day 1.
Day 4: Repeat day 2.
Day 5: Repeat day 1.
Day 6: Repeat day 2.
Day 7: Off.
These videos are to the point and the exercise moves really target the problem areas. I saw some of Jillian Michaels 30 day shred on youtube and I thought it was very similar to what I was already doing except she mixes everything up (cardio, weights, pilates). I don’t like that to be honest. I don’t want to be doing jumping jacks when I’m trying to work on my butt. As far as I know, you’re supposed to fatigue the muscles to get the best results. You can’t fatigue your abs if you do 12 crunches and then move onto a dumbbell chest press or something. I focus on one area at a time and these videos are perfect for that.

I've been doing the abs workout for a few days. Really felt the pain the first couple days. It's easier now, hoping to see some results soon. How is it going for you?

I don’t really feel pain any more (apart from when I’m actually doing the workout), I just feel like my muscles are out of place
abs feels weird afterwards but that’s a good sign.
I haven’t taken any measurements at all. I’ll do so after another week.
