Looks like Alqaida and Jihadis are systematically wiping out first response units of Punjab police.
This should not be taken lightly. Once the first responders are taken out, then regular police stations will be suicide bombed.
This is how police in Swat was demoralized to a point where they simply left their posts and Talibanic disease took over the region.
There is no doubt that terrorists are using mosques and madrassahs to hide, plan, and carry out their heinous work.
it is time to lockdown all the mosques and completely shutdown all the madrassahs. No iffs and no buts.
Mosques should only be opened for prayer and then locked up again. and watched via closed circuit TV and police officers.
Madrassahs should be banned and students be sent to regular schools.
This is the time to rise up and save Pakistan from the the fate of becoming yet another Islamic Jannat of Afghanistan.

Suicide attack on Rescue-15 office kills 2 policemen in Isb

ISLAMABAD: Two policemen were killed and four others injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up at the entrance of Rescue-15 building here on Saturday.
According to Geo news correspondent Asim Rana, policemen stationed at the main gate of Rescue-15 offered resistance and shot dead the accomplice of the suicide bomber. Terrorists also tried to attack the building a few days ago but security forces foiled the bid, Geo news reported.

Normal policing tactics cannot be used against the jihadis. Special military tribunals should be held where all caught terrorists, once interrogated must be tried and executed. This will ensure that police going after these terrorists will be sure that terrorists will not be let go.
After NWFP, punjab is under serious threat from talibs, including the terrorist safe havens of mianwali and south punjab.

that i would recommend atleast for swat, dont let them pass through legal system and i guess it is in law whenevery someone is caught fighting the army he would be tried in military court.

Firstly you noticed they foiled an attack on the unit. So they are proving themselves to be worthy of the national colors. They are fighting back. The police fought back on both occasions.
Like always where you wankers see doom and gloom, the reality is that the Pakistani police force is doing a very good job compared to their training and assets. They should be saluted for their efforts.
