DIR: A suicide bomb ripped through a mosque packed with worshippers here on Friday, killing 38 people and wounding dozens more in the deadliest such attack in more than two months.
The bomb exploded at the mosque in the remote, mountainous village of Hayagai Sharqai in Upper Dir, which borders the district of Swat, where the military has focused its blistering air and ground assault against the militants.
Malik Naveed Khan, police chief of North West Frontier Province, said 38 people were killed and 50 wounded in the explosion.
“We fear the death toll may rise to 45 because people are still trapped under the debris. Rescue work is under way,” the government officials in Upper Dir said.

You see, the jihadi degenerates are fighting jihad against america by killing people who pray in masjids.
When these incidents happen, I really wonder how there can be any support for these radical types. You can rationalize/justify your opposition to Western policies or culture all you want, but blowing up Muslims at prayer just COMPLETELY negates your argument that you are fighting for an "Islamic" society.
It may sound drastic.
But these are desperate moments in Pak history.
And one of the appropriate steps is to lock down all the mosques, and shutdown all the madrassahs.
Locked down Mosques should be guarded 24 hours and equipped with live video feed.
When prayer time comes, an active duty government officer should lead the prayer. Every person entering the mosque should be searched.
Then the mosque should be locked immediately after the prayer.
Madrassahs should be converted into regular schools with ZERO religiosity in them. That means NO MULLAH within the schools' 500 yards.
If we do not act quickly, the whole Pakistan will be turned into cesspool like Afghanistan. Our big Kothees will be blackened with smoke, government buildings will be destroyed, and roads will not exist.
Then NATO army will be handing out bread to the starving Pakistanis.
I know many will jump at these measures. Perhaps many of us want to turn Pakistan into a trash dump called Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan.

Let's look at it from jihadi perspective. Anyone not of their thinking is murtad and kafir, and punishment for that is death. Period. No ifs and buts to their argument.
Since the upper dir population did not rise in favor of taliban, they deserve death. There is a also a lot of inner hatred and notions of "revenge" involved in their thinking, which is also un-islamic, as jihad cannot be fought for personal revenge.

Time is very near indeed, these vermins truly think that they can continue in this manner, in a while all will come to know the inevitable repurcussion for blowing up a Mosque, No muslims can do this, it is the enemy of Islam who are responsible for this and they will all be taken to account in a while. Indians have penetrated deep in Pakistan- we should have been watchful and checked every person entering from Afghanistan. All Bomb blasts are Indians' job and not Baitullah Mehsud or Omar Mullah.
