I want to clear my concept about Jihad, especially Jihad by sword. Please help me.

Jihad by sword…or Qitaal…is an important concept in islam…Like when there is no other choice ..u have to operate it…which apprently is an unpleasing thing…but is infact for the benefit of that person…same is the case with qitaal…ulema can shed more light on this…search anygod islamic website…there isplenty f litrature there…and yes there are more then 400 plus ayah related to jihad in qurn ..that speaks volumes of its importence…
