Jihad for everything and removing Jewish ref from Quran

I am facing a few asians who are frustrated with this Jihad for each and everything. They ( my friends ) are neither Jews nor muslims. But because of physical resemblance they are frustrated and getting angry with we Muslims.

Do we need Jihad?

They say All the prophets except Mohammad are Jews. They say Ishmail is not a prophet. If we muslims hate Jews, why should we refer to Allah in Jewish names and make use of Jewsih prophets including Moses and Jesus.

I am not able to answer their question.

They say your father has a brother. Your father earned wealth. In the same way your father’s brother earned wealth in a different way.

They ask will you ask your cousins to share their father’s wealth ( that is your uncle’s wealth ) with you. That is how you should not use Jewish Prophets name if you are a separate religion.

They also say
you should remove all references in Quran about Jewish prophets.

An extreme person shouts Announce Jihad against you Muslims and clear you away from Jewish prophets.

They add Jews are original and Muslims are duplicates

What do you think
do we need jihad. should we clear Quran of Jewish references.

Why don't we begin like this...in your opinion, according to Islam, what is the definition and meaning behind jihad?

People of earlier revelation! Why do you argue about Abraham when both the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed till after him? Have you no sense? You have indeed argued about that of which you have some knowledge; why then do you argue about that of which you have no knowledge at all? Allah knows, whereas you do not know. Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian; but he was wholly devoted to Allah, having surrendered himself to Him. He was not of those who associate partners with Allah. The people who have the best claim to Abraham are those who followed him, and this Prophet (Pbuh) and those who are true believers. Allah is the guardian of the believers. (The House of Imran, “Aal -Imran” : 3:65-68)

REMEBER We ( my friends here with me, I dont know much however to say about the members of this discussion group ) are a very good group who discuss openly and in a healthy manner on diverse matters.

(1) No prophets gains importance because he happened to be the last prophet, rather because how and in what all way God has interacted to them. If Moses or Jesus foretold that messenger Mohammad would be sent, then the First Condidion is

Moses and Jesus, who believed by you to have foretold, the arrival of messenger, MUST BE THE REAL AND TRUSTED GOD'S SERVANTS. Even in this respect Quran shows its jealousy to these prophets of Jews.

If Moses' inspiration is questioned by Quran, then Quran should totally dissociate from Torah. Leave Jews alone with the greatest treasure, which you believe, is a BLUNDER, to themselves. Dont feel jeasous of the blunder of Jews. Guide yourself without the Blunder Jews. So in this respect also Quran needs to clear itself away from all references to Jewish heritage. THAT IS THEIR HERITAGE. DONT TRY TO STEAL FROM THEIR HERITAGE.

(2) Moses was so pleased to God, that God offered to take away all the inheritance that your Ibrahim was promised to. If Moses did that then the sons of Hagar will not claim falsely on the inheritance of Isacc and Jacob. But Moses was selfless, truthful and accurate that he conveyed whatever was inspired or shown to him by God himself. He did not need any angel to serve between him and Moses.

Also being a Good Steward and was also jealous for God's promises Ibrahim, Moses refused to receive the inheritance from God. But Prophet Mohammad, if at all he is, DID THAT. Because of this Mohammad is selfish.

Muslims also should stop worshipping God as Jehovah or Yeweh. The name was revealed by God himself to Moses for the first time. God was not known to Abraham as Jehovah. Moses openly says so.

Torah ( in restricted sense to include 4 books of moses ) was written by Moses. The God ( Not God only the arch angel Gabriel ) whom you believe took Mohammad to Heaven to reveal something, appeared in the most possible form Mankind can see the all powerful God.

Prophet Mohammad showed greatest disrepect to all prophets especially
Jesus, who is the son of God, by questioning Jesus. Instead he must respect and submit to the words of Jesus 100 %. Some believe Jesus prophesised about the coming of Mohammad. If Jesus made a greatest blunder by falsely calling himself "Son of God", then God was never with Jesus and therefore messenger Mohammad's coming was not foretold by Jesus.

In all ways Mohammad is far far inferior to Moses and Jesus, that he DESERVES NO SPECIAL TREATMENT to followers of God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. You can add followers ofr Hagar - God never spoke to Ishmail, He only spoke to Hagar during the period Hagar was considered to be within the control of Sarah, but was cast away by Sarah because of wrong doings.

Abraham, Isaac, Moses, Jesus cannot be removed from Quran. Origin of all of them was same as Mohammed's. They all had one same message, pray ALLAH alone. There is no "Jealousy" in Quran. Quran mentions facts and stories about previous prophets for reference.

Its not Mohammed showing greatest disrespect to all prophets, but its the followers of those prophets who are disrepecting their prophets for not following the teachings and for corrupting the message given to them.

1) How come this concept Jealousy came.

Does any books of Torah or Gospel or other books of bible say that

Jews are jealous of Islam - that is atleast before 500 years of Muhammad's birth, Jews were jealous of Muhammad.

The same number of years for Christians.

Jealousy can arise only to the existing person with respect to an existing thing. Neither Jews nor Christians could have jealousy of something being revealed to Muhammad.

Both their books were completed and compiled before Muhammad was born.

The fear of Jealousy is unfound. It indicates the psychological status of authors of Quran.

God cannot be Jealous. Man can be Jealous of others' work. Muhammad is a man. As a man he can have psychological upsets leading to fear of jealousy. He feared his work will not be aCCEPTED.

The excuse - Blame it on the Jews and Christians. Quran if given by God would not speak about jealousy. God's words were authoritative. Quran misses the authoritative tone of God, but is pessimistic and pshychologically inhibited.

2) Even Quran says we accept Torah and Gospel.

On the first place, You Muslims must accept Torah and Gospel first before reading anyother word of Quran. Acceptance must be 100%. You don't have the right to question.

You are laying claim upon claim upon claim…Would you mind backing those claims with actual references from where you are getting your knowledge from?

And how can we cut out Jewish teachings from Quran when the source is the same and only continuing from previous ones?

And for your information, our Holy Prophet :saw: did not act selfish wanting prophethood. It was bestowed upon him and destined for him. The Holy Prophet :saw: was himself caught offguard when for the first time Gabriel :as: appeared before him. Just like Moses :as: was caught offguard. The responsibility of prophethood was thrust upon them and like the magnificent people that they were, carried out their task magnanimously.

Of course, Jews being who they were, turned against Allah :swt: and started worshipping the Golden Calf, while Muslims being who they were stuck to their faith like anything and died on that faith.
