I read in some threads, some guppies mentioned the collection of chanda for jihad operations in masjids of Pakistan.
Can anyone living in Pakistan corroborate this? Have you guys seen this? Is it open and obvious? And why has the Pakistani government not done anything to crack down on it?
Maybe things have changed in the past year, but as far as I know, masjids were in the process of being registered with the government under Musharraf. What happened to that under Zardari’s administration - are mosques complying with their state-approved curriculum and what’s being done about mosques and madrassas that deviate from what is Islamically and nationally accepable by law?
