well, jhumka is type of earring which is shaped like a cage or like a dome, it can be suspended in the ear via a hook or a bob The above pictures have various kinds of jhumkas incorporated into their design hope this helps

Payal my mom has a similar pair in a bit smaller size!!! I thought they were not soo good till I saw rekha wearing them in a song, and then I was like wooooww! I plan to wear em witha gold pendent as a tikka and leave my neck bare at my cousin’s sanchak(i.e mehendi)
