Jagjit singh has outdone himself with the ghazal’s lyrics and singing. The softly flowing rythm, the provoking words that urges the other person to finally admit it…superb!
Provoking is the fitting word you have used here to describe the lyrical black-mailing to get the other rebel against herself (not admit).
I agree Jagjit has outdone himself. If you have seen the video, Shabana Aazmi has translated the dreams of lyricist in befitting manner; reacting so much beautifully as if the whole scheme is downright believable. “Arth” would keep on living in my memories.
