I think it looks better on the side..think it adds a more pakistani touch rather than being straight down

I had aari mang and I still wore a jhoomer and tika...it depends on how you situate it and the kind of jhoomer you have.

teri and aari are sideways, sidhi means straight.

i had my bangs going across my forehead diagonally and still did jhoomar and teeka.
