Jhimpir Wind Power: Pakistan’s first wind farm

Re: Jhimpir Wind Power: Pakistan’s first wind farm

Though the AEDB was formed in 2003, but still the government should be appreciated and encouraged for any good step, just as it is critisised for any bad move.

This project was funded by the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Eco Trade & Development Bank and Habib Bank of Pakistan. NEPRA has approved Rs12.61 per KWh feed-in tariff for foreign-financed wind power projects. Once government-financed projects will start production, the end-user cost will decrease further.
