Im getting married in april 2012 in jhelum, we was going to have it in karachi first but i decided jhelum would be better as iv heard karachi is not safe, so basically i needed info regarding marquees, we have contacted star decorater jhelum but they dont even ring back or email us any prices, does anyone know any good wedding planners or any companies which deal with shaadis? We want to hire someone who will b in charge of putting up marquee, lighting, sound system, catering, stage setting etc etc.
Also which r the best beauty parlours in jhelum? Iv heard splendour is good if iv got the name correct lol.

Ive jst come bak from pak in nov 2011 went jhelum for shopping....i dnt want to alarm you but i found that shopping their was pretty crappy especially wid the prices. The have a fixed rate system, which only applies if you are british... also thy hav a bit of an attitude problem if you ask for them to negotiate on the price. We went into one shop the guy quoted one lady 1500 and when my sister askd 10 minutes later he said 2500 we walkd straight out. The main reason is becuz most ppl frm jhelum are from the uk and they knw thy will get wht they want from them....

Im getting married at the tulip hotel in january next year then walima in lahore. Tulip are pretty good at the moment with a limo service, marquees. 600 per head which i think is not so bad... I went to a cousins wedding there too and it is nice. I will be going there from the uk but I do visit yearly to jhelum. Splendour is the famous place to have makeup done but please make sure you get them to show you how the makeup will look before your big day. I went there to get my makeup done for my cousins wedding and I did look a bit strange! but that was about 7 or 8 years ago! Good luck!

Congratulations. Have you sorted out any Make up artist and decorators yet? Let me know . I saw the Splendour Lady make up in 2011 when I was in Jhelum for a bit. Absolutely ridiculous. There charges are $18,000 but the quality of work is basically **** and so does Morning Glory as well. Try to get someone from Islamabad, most of them are willing to travel to Jhelum for a little bit of extra cost which I really dont mind. Where you coming from? Good luck though!
