i remember when 14 august would come, all us cousins would bring jhandiyan and decorate the house and outside of it wit them, but not with tape or glue or anything, we used aata 
and it worked too. 
i miss those days 
and i remember we’d get patakhay from bazaar and those purty phool jhariyan and shurliyan 
i miss being a kid i hate being a grown up, it stinks

the night before 
used to be AWESOME. and then i used to light up diye and place them everywhere in the house. but it always rained on Aughust 14, so the diye would just kinda die
omg i’m gonna ask my cousins to get some for me and when i got back i’m gonna bring them back and put them up next year:D omg this is such a brilliant idea

we used to decorate the steps wid candles on d side , and put jhandiyaan on the outside of the house. but my mamus never let us go out as d boys go a lil wild on dt day .. lolz
