Re: Jhanda
Read it on Jang newspaper today. It's very sad to see what a few people can do to the country for money and/or to fulfill their personal agendas. Who cares what happens to the country? Just keep stuffing our own pockets.

Re: Jhanda
^ and thats when we need some superheroes like you to come and rescue from villains of the country.
Though I saw a picture of Pakistani flag hoisted down today in someone's blog, didnt seem right.
Re: Jhanda
Taliban flag looks way better than Pakistani flag. It’s very unique ‘our’ flag. Not like the Pk flag where there’s a chand tara..bollywood any1?
Re: Jhanda
^ whether Pakistani flags "beautiful" or not, those guys are using Quran and these tactics as booby-traps. First thing first, "suicide" is haram, "killing" is haram, if they really want to "fight" for Allah and His Rules on the land then they must confront it like army.
Re: Jhanda
^was this what they raised up though? just wonderin...
Good question Teddy. I am not sure. If it was some other flag then I have a problem.

InshAllah one day.
Re: Jhanda
well taleban flag is a inverse of teh flag the prophet used, which has recently been hijacked by the likes of hizb ul tahrir, I guess they draw their inspiration from the saudi flag which has teh kalma on it.
and what this whole business of not attacking them id they have this flag up. tomorrow if I raise a kalma flag up and am selling drugs and running strip joints then that would be okay with everyone?

First off, we need to establish if the Shahdah on a white background is indeed the same flag hoisted.
Secondly, I refuse to recognize this or any other flag with Islamic calligraphy as a "Taliban" or "Group X" flag. What I am saying here is that Westerners may have fallen for the perversion of Islam as represented by the extremists to be actual Islam, but I will not buy that argument.
If the Taliban decide to put "Allah" on their flag tomorrow, it does not mean that I will stop wearing my Allah chain because some random rag-tag militia decides to use it as their symbol.

One day what?

I think thats what I tried to say as well, I don't fall for these extremists "la ilaha il-Allah" anymore, I don't trust them at all.

One day an army will rise.
Re: Jhanda
I don’t think that above flag should be flag of any country or group. No Muslim who respects the writing on this flag would like to have such flag for their country or group. Flag is symbol that is used in all sorts of celebrations, and thus gets printed on small piece of papers that comes under the feet on many occasions. At times, people may even trample on flags of different countries deliberately. In reality, no country can make sure that their flags are never misused.
That is the reason a flag should only have symbol and not writings of religious importance (like Kalma-e-Tayeaba), where writing itself is sacred and should not get mutilated, desecrated or dishonored. Any country or group that uses flags with sacred writings are actually doing wrong, whoever that country maybe, as intentionally or unintentionally, they are dishonoring the writings on that flag (what ever the intention). Only misguided Muslims do that.

With this approach? May be in a million years when everybody else will be dead by suicide bombings.
Re: Jhanda
i love the pakistan flag
Re: Jhanda

True that brother.
I was just saying a flag is a symbol and so a country should represent the kalima in its activities. ie an islamic way
Re: Jhanda
More such incidents will happen unless there is a forceful response and national agenda set to deal with these terrorists. Today Swat, tomorrow Pindi.
Re: Jhanda
I understand that part, but right now I am talking about the extremists who want to fight but don’t want to do it as army.

Yea brother … and it is duty of all Muslims that name of Allah and Prophet (SAW) should not get mutilated, desecrated, dishonored or get trampled under the feet of people.
There is saying (hadith) that a Muslim should not take Quran to land of ‘enemies of Allah’, and reason is that Quran might get into the hands of ‘enemies of Allah’ who might mutilate, desecrate or dishonor Quran, for which the person taking the Quran would get ‘gunah’as he (that Muslim) became the cause of such happenings.
Same about flag, that once a country or group adopts a flag with sacred writings (like Kalima-e-Tayeaba) than intentionally or unintentionally, the country or group is creating a cause where the writing would get mutilated, desecrated, dishonored or get trampled under the feet of people. To me, decision maker of such country or group are misguided and ‘gunah-gaar’.
