Re: Jhanda

I like the Pakistani flag , you like the Pakistani flag, we all like the Pakistani flag.

Well, ok, they could have made it more festive, but then Pakistanis are not a festive lot anyway.

When a flag is hoisted up, it symbolizes something. When it is brought down and replaced with another flag, that action has tremendous meaning.

I am hearing that in Swat, Mualana Fazlullah radio-Imam (Polio-vaccines-are-haraam-head-of-Swat-insurgency) has brought down the Pakistani flag and hoisted up the Taliban flag.

Is this true? They barely mentioned it on GEO, according to a family member, and they haven’t been mentioning it much since.

This supposedly was one of the setting off points for the emergency - if this is the case, WHY is this not on the news.

What do you feel about this?

i give more importance to human life…u don’t…for you jhanda issue is more important than the indiscriminate butchering of the innocent civilians by the army under madman mushy’s command. if jhanda is of such significance to you then i guess asma jehangir should be your secondary concern. :k:
