Why ‘Jews’ were called ‘Yahud’ and Christians were called “Nasara”?

Jewish were from one of the 12 tribes----- one of which was tribe of JUDAH and Christian were called Nasara because Jesus of Nazareth-taken from Nazareth --

As far as the term 'Nasara' is concerned, there could be two explanations as per my understanding:

1) It is derived from 'nasar' i.e., 'he helped'. Please refer to verse 3:53, the disciples of jesus(as) sided with him as helpers in the cause of Allah, so they came to be known as 'nasara' i.e., helpers

2) It is derived from 'Nazareth or Nasra', Jesus' native village

Hazrat Yaqoob AS had 12 sons ( from where those 12 tribes were formed as leap of faith mentioned ) & one of his sons name was "Yahuda" so his tribe was named after him. This is why we call them "yahudi" or "yahud". He was the one who was quite jealous from Hazrat yousuf AS & provoked other brothers too to do wrong with Hazrat Yousuf AS, as we all know that well story.

:jazak: all for your contribution. Pardon me for my ignorance isn’t the Jews are the followers of Prophet Musa a.s., who used to refer to the Tawrah for judgment?

It occurred to me that whenever the jewish nation (progeny of yaqoob(as)) in general is addressed then they are addressed as 'bani israel'. but when the distinction between jews (who are followers of Musa(as) but didn't accept Jesus(as)) and Christians (those who accepted Jesus(as). Jesus(as) is also called messenger unto 'bani israel') was meant then, terms 'yahud' and 'nasara' are used.
