Does anyone know where I can find kundan type jewelry in either lahore or Islamabad. I’ve attached pics. And do brides get this made in real gold? Or is fake fine for the wedding since I don’t think I’d ever really wear such heavy jewelry again. Some of these specific peices i can imagine wearing again lol but if u don’t think u ever will, then go for the fake ones cos u can’t really tell. I’ve seen brides wear real and fake and i couldn’t tell the difference.
Re: Jewelry in Lahore/Islamabad
I know what you mean. I actually want the biggest one in this pics. The smaller ones are wearable again. Do you have any idea how much they cost to get made though? The smaller ones?
Re: Jewelry in Lahore/Islamabad
Liberty Market is your best bet. You could get this made in gold, then it would be polki. But for artificial stuff Liberty is your best bet.
Re: Jewelry in Lahore/Islamabad
Go to new alfatah the owners wife has jewlary store there all stuff kundan Indian type is found there I found it too late for my own wedding but I thought I shd help others
Re: Jewelry in Lahore/Islamabad
The stuff you find at liberty can easily be spotted as being fake, at least I can. If you don’t have a problem with that, you can find a lot of designs there.
However, if you want something that gives a real look, try to get hold of jewelers that deal in silver jewelry, gold plating and zircon polki.
Obviously diamond polki’s shine is incomparable. All depends on how much ure willing to spend
Re: Jewelry in Lahore/Islamabad
If the affordability is there, definitely go for real gold. It is your wedding day after all and you can pass it on to your daughter or future DIL. I never thought I would wear my wedding jewellery again but I have ended up wearing it a few times and will again at functions etc.
