actually there's a place in scarborough- its lawrence and vic park... on vic park two lights north of lawrence...? i'll confirm for you. they're south indian jewellers in the same plaza as fancy florist, i believe - 1668 Victoria Park Ave - but anyway, we went there to find something for my sis in law to be and they had some surprisingly lovely stuff!

Try Noor Jewellers on Gerard Street.
I think there is one called Variety Jewellers there too.
I have found nice things at both places.

Noor jewellars on gerrard street have amazing stuff
but they carry really large sets that are so beautiful but sooo expensive
their stuff is all from karachi and amazing
they also have small sets too
but thats the only shop i liked on gerrard street

^ I went to Noor jewellers recently and fell in love with a kara...super traditional design and absolutely stunning...emeralds rubies, and polki. It was a masterpiece. I'm shopping for my wedding right now so I was definitely interested but their price seemed unreasonable.
