Jewellery

How do you guys handle your jewellery? Keep it all at home or what? Or some safety deposit box or locker at bank?

Also how do you people keep it clean? :hmmm: how do you clean rings? :hmmm:

Re: Jewellery

cleaning rings is easy use some toothpaste n scrub softly with an old toothbrush.some ppl just dip them in warm water n dishwashing liquid n then use thoothbrush to scrub dirt off.lemon also works well.
my jewelery is all at home.risky i know but its mostly light jewelery n i don't wanna go to bank everytime i need it for some ocassion.but i do hav a small metallic beauty box with lock where i keep it to hide it from my naughty daughter.

Re: Jewellery

Lol i have a locked chest in my dressing room… to stop my daughters messing around with my jewellery too, Mabrook :cb:

The real real expensive stuff is with the bank…For the jewellery i keep at home, i get someone else to clean it professionally every year or so… but for a quick polish, i use those dipping things and special cloths and tissues, and they’re great for bringing back the shine to your rings

Re: Jewellery

what dipping things?:hmmm:

Re: Jewellery

i guess she meant cleansing solutions u can buy at jewelery stores.i got one as bonus with the purchase of a diamond ring.well havn't used it so far.

Re: Jewellery

Oh really... I bought one yesterday but did not get any solution with it. Anyways I was on the lookout for something which could clean my rings. Will look for cleansing solutions then.

Re: Jewellery

^ Some at home. Some in bank. Get it cleaned professionally by a jeweler. I don't think it costs much.

At home....use a toothbrush to scrub dirt out of jewelry cracks. And for silver, you can use vinegar to clean. Plus, in the grocery store, you can find special detergents for cleaning and polishing sliver jewelry.

Re: Jewellery

oh ok :)
