What designs are in these days? I am only going for ear rings, necklace and churiyan. No tikka or jhumar. I dont like jhumar and cant wear tikka cuz of hijab though I really like tikka.

So whats in for necklace designs?and ear rings?and bangles???
I wanna aviod the shiny golden look

Nowadays, stones (both precious and semiprecious) are in as compared to solid gold jewelry. If you can match your jewelry to your outfit, that's always nice. People are wearing rather large earrings and one matching necklace. Sometimes, you'll see two necklaces on a bride, a choker and a matching guluband.

You should try a Tikka, i've seen really beautiful brides wear hijab with tikka. i can pm you some pictures of friends who did that if you want .

Are you looking for bridal jewelery? I'm a hijabi and getting married soon as well so I know what you mean. But, you can still wear a tikka. Yuor hair doesn't have to show for that. It's just the jhumar that we can't really wear cuz of the hair showing. I've opted to wear a matha patti. I think they look gorgeous and you don't have to show your hair at all for it.

What exactly is a guluband?? I thought it was a choker! Guess I was wrong. Do you have any pics of what that might look like (someone wearing a choker and guluband together)?? Thanks!
