Re: Jewell Suggestion for Walima -- NEED ADVISE / MASHWAREY ... :)
many times jewelry really depends on your body style as well....
for example the set in pic #18 is really beautiful but it does not suit the bride at all as it just seems to lie there on what appears to be a relatively small chest (which btw could just look small because of the heavy work on the shirt, who knows)
perhaps #13 with a blue stone
or maybe #20 in just plain gold......

i really like 3, 9, 14, and 17. I think plain gold with a mix of white gold or rhodium would look stunning. If you reallly wanted to, you could add some blue stone, but i wouldn't do too many because it can make it look too "matchy matchy" or too fake (like plastic bead-like). I think the mix of white and yellow gold or silver would make it pop and give a really great contrast. by the way your suit is very beautiful mashaAllah :)
thanks , but the sets you choose all have stones !! what color should be the stones then ? as you are suggestin blue stones could be too matchy matchy?
i also like the mix of white and yellow gold and silver too !!

i completely agree! ferozi stones and pearls would look very elegant and classic :) Even a soft yellow transparent topaz stone would look pretty in it. that way you could always wear the set after the shaadi because it will go with almost everything.
go for something with feroza and pearls in it, will look really classy.

I love #14. It looks classy. It could be worn with so many outfits after the wedding. I really like it. Does anyone have any close up pictures of this or any additional info ? Thanks.

I like some of the more modern styles, that are medium size, but full-looking sets. You want to buy something that you can wear again and again. Oh, and the plating shouldn’t be a silver, but a lighter gold (not the dark 22kt-type).

Suggestions for gemstones to match the outfit:
**Lemon quartz/topaz (buttery yellow, can be even more pale than the example shown)
**
****Citrines (an amber yellow which would contrast well in the set and with the outfit)
**
**
Champagne quartz (a taupe-ish colour that acts a neutral in the set and again complements the colour of your outfit).
Smoky Quartz (a rich brown colour which can be included if you have the champagne quartz as a gradient between it).
**
Here are all of the above colours in a single set/strand to show how they look together:
**
**For the blues, blue topaz is probably a bit better than turquoise/feroza since it’s a translucent stone, as opposed to opaque and can be faceted better than turquoise (which looks best polished, in a cabachon cut).

**In contrast, here is turquoise

As an example, here are how the stones look together (citrines, smokey quartz, blue topaz, lemon topaz/quartz). I think they look great and would complement your outfit wonderfully!
