Re: Jet lag and babies

How long have you been there?Where did you travel from?
I have taken my now 4 year old daughter, three times to Pakistan from USA.Every time it has taken her more than a week (10 days or so) to eventually get the sleep cycle right. The first time she was 6 months old and second time I took her she was 20 mths old.I just had to go with the flow. She had the habit of napping in the afternoon so when she slept there, she slept for hours. You just have to try to reduce day time sleeping in 15-30 mins increments daily and try to keep them awake so that eventually their bed time is at night. It takes time but it does get better. Its kinda hard to force them to stay awake when they are sleepy (like its their bedtime),esp when they are this young.
Good luck and hope you are there for a while. One of my trips to Pakistan with her was just 2 weeks, and it felt that all the time I was there,I was sleeping during the day and up all night with her.Wasn’t too fun…!!
